My grandfather is friends with a guy who bought the Roadster version. I've never seen him drive his Roadster with the top down. :(

That's always sad. If you're going to pay the premium, use it.
My avatar is me on the day I picked it up from the dealer. In a back to the future pose. "Only" took about 10 months from order to delivery.
